The fact is, most first-time college student don't know which major to select or which career best suit them. Being undecided is completely normal. Don't get agitated for not being able to decide on a major...yet. Don't worry too much, don't get too stressed, give yourself some slack.

A college major is a subject or field of study chosen by a student to represent his or her principal interest and upon which a large share of his or her effort are concentrated(according to Dictionary.com).
The key to choosing a major is to know your interests well. Have a picture of the career you can see yourself doing for the next 20 or more years. In some cases, the college might not offer a degree that meet all of your academic and professional interest. In that case, going beyond your university's traditional programs is necessary by creating your own major. Yes, you can create your own major. If you already knew, that's great. If you aren't quite aware, speaking to an advisor or counselor should be your first step.
