CCLA Upgrades LINCC

CCLA will upgrade LINCC’s LMS software, Aleph, to version 20 over Memorial Day weekend, May 29-30, 2010.  Also planned as part of that activity will be the upgrade of LINCC’s underlying data management system to Oracle 11G.  Most of the enhancements and efficiencies within Aleph v.20 will be transparent to libraries; however, the new software will offer some enhancements to the Acquisitions module.

CCLA  will host one or more webcasts prior to the upgrade to help familiarize library staff with the changes.
