During the second half of the fall term, Student Learning Center tutors will give out raffle tickets to students they see "relaxing with a good read" on campus.
Only students "caught" reading a physical book will receive a raffle ticket. Smartphones, PCs, and tablets do not count as physical books.
Anyone "caught" reading Palm Beach State College’s common reader will receive two raffle tickets. The common-reader selection this year is The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks by Rebecca Skloot.
Drawings and gift card amounts will vary by campus.
