Finding a Book

Find Print and E-Books:

The best way to find a book using any computer is:

·         Log in to your PantherWeb

·         Click the library icon on the left columm

·         Type your search in the Search box- This is a keyword search – You can search for author, title or topic

·         The search defaults to all campuses – you can change it to Lake Worth by selecting it

·         Under LIMIT TO you can select either books or e-books


Choosing a Print Book

 After Finding the Print Book You Want:

·         Click on LOCATIONS

·         Make sure that the it says AVAILABLE in the last column

·     Write the call # down (e.g. RC454 .M39 2007) 

·     Look for book on the shelf by call # order

·     If book is checked out it will say checked out

·     You can request the book when logged in if not available




Choosing an E-Book

After Finding an E-Book you Want:

·         Make sure you are logged in through PantherWeb

·         Click on VIEW ONLINE 

If Not Logged in Through PantherWeb:

·         You are going to be ask for an Username and Password.

·         The Username = 249# behind your PantherCard

·         Your Password= 2 digits of birth month and 2 digits of birth year (MMYY)
