You can use the Find command to search for words/phrases on a web page.

Right click on a link to open in a new tab.
One way to fact check your source is to open another search tab in the search engine you're using (e.g. Google, Bing) and find out what Wikipedia and other websites have to say about the source website, organization, publisher, or authors.
