When you enter your search term(s) in the catalog search bar. You can choose from the following options that appear in the drop-down menu:

Everything Search all Palm Beach State College's Library Collections, including databases for online articles, books, media and more.

Library Catalog Search physical items held at the PBSC Library (books, dvds, audiobooks).

Articles Search for articles and other materials in our subscription databases available to PBSC's students and faculty.

Statewide Catalog Search for materials held by other statewide college libraries. To request materials we don't own, visit the Interlibrary Loan Guide.

Course Reserves Locate items that faculty have put on Reserve in the library for your classes. Search by course name, course code, or title.

Basic Search: Shows results that contain keywords that match on title, author, subject, or other descriptions.

Advanced Search: Pre-limit your search based on specific fields like material types or dates.

Tips: 

• Sign-in in order to view the full text of articles and ebooks, place holds on physical books, renew books online, and create favorites lists.
• Checking 'Expand My Results' will include additional items that are not necessarily full-text, or items you can request via Interlibrary Loan.
• Use the filters on the left to limit your results based on availability, library, location, resource type, etc.
