The search terms "photography during the Civil War" will find results on a specific aspect of the Civil War while the search terms, "Civil War," will provide many articles about the Civil War.

3. Expand your search. Mark the checkbox above the results box labeled, "Add results beyond your library's collection," to search for items not found in FAU Libraries. Use Interlibrary Loan to request books, articles, and items not available in the FAU Libraries collections
