Learning Outcomes - Targeted Palm Beach State Classes

Doug recently raised the question about trying to teach all four Learning Outcomes in one single 60-75 minute class.  Other Disciplines have a whole semester to teach their Learning Outcomes and we are trying to address all four in one class.  Four or five years ago we discussed targeting specific classes with a specific Outcome.  An Outcome Assignment Committee (Doug, Lisa, and Mohamed) was appointed to take our four Outcomes and come up with a plan outlining which Outcome would be appropriate for a particular class.  The Outcome Assignment Committee recommed the following plan:

Learning Outcomes - Assessment

We currently have one assessment instrument that addresses all four of our Learning Outcomes.  To improve our  assessments, we need multiple questions for each Learning Outcomes, so that we can measure the Outcome without having the student taking the same survey each time, and  having different Survey instruments would give us more flexibility with assessing other classes in addition to the Strategies classes.  We could accomplish that if we create a database of questions for each Learning Outcome.

An Assessment Committee (Connie, Susan, and Mohamed) were appointed to take our four Outcomes and come up with four or more questions for each Outcome to help us measure them. Connie and Susan of the Assessment Committee recommended  questions for each Outcome.    (Mohamed was unable to meet with them, but after reveiwing the questions raised his concern about the end-users.  He thinks that many of our students will not grasp some of the question.  In answer to his question about giving credit to whomever wrote the questions if we adopt them as written, Connie indicated it was from SAILS.)   The questions submitted are as follows:
